I suggest you…

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".
(thinking…)

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  1. E-Mail round Trip Monitor should be available in more then one Region.

E-Mail round Trip Monitor should be available in more then one Region. Therefore monitoring can be combined to prevent false Alarm, if there is a Monitoring Server (or Network issue), like happened this week.

  2. ERT - Selecting the Mail Server (IP address or FQDN) instead of MX

MX Records for mail servers normally represent Spam Filters not the actual mail server. Further, for example, Exchange Server Clusters consist of multiple mail servers not one. If I am only able to use your "E-Mail Round Trip" with a MX record I am not able to define the actual mail server for testing as the Spam filters route the email randomly to the actual mail servers behind the scene.

The E-Mail Round Trip" service will always show that the email service is running regardless of an actual outage as it will bypass the down server.
